| One of the best campus among
the top ranking academic institutions in Western
Orissa, it is located in the midst of greenery
and spreads over 50 acres of land. It provides
an ideal environment for academic pursuits. |

| The facilities available on
the campus include its library, lecture halls
with modern audio-visual aid, a conference
hall, an auditorium with 200 seating capacity,
an open air pandal, a 4 acre sports ground,
a gymnasium, 2 hostels accommodating 360 students,
50 sets residential quarters, the college
heath care unit and a canteen. The college
has four blocks and four galleries, twelve
laboratories and thirty classrooms. |

| Teaching Facilities |
| Most departments have a set of rooms of
its own, a well furnished room for the Head,
a staff room, a computer room, a research
room, seminar room cum departmental library,
separate well equipped laboratories for UG,
PG students, toilets for gents and ladies.
The Botany department has a garden of its
own. Zoology and Botany departments have their
museums. The English department has a language
laboratory. The department of Physics has
a workshop where laboratory equipment are
repaired. Internet facilities are also available
in the Mathematics department. |

| Library |

The Central
Library of the college is well organized
with 40,0000 books and subscribing to
a few scholarly journals pertaining
to different disciplines. There is a
reading room for staff and also one
for students. The library is open for
six days a week between 10 a.m. and
5 p.m. |

The facilities available
in the library are Reprography, Computers,
Audio & Video Cassettes and Internet. |

The activities of the
library that have been computerized
are Lending of books, Lending of audiovisual
material, Stock verification, Purchase
of books and Book Bank. |

| Computer Facilities |
| Computer education was introduced in the
college in 1997 in the B.Sc. Computer Hons.
(Self-Financing) Dept. There is a central
computer facility which is open on working
days between 10 A.M. and 5 P.M. |

| Computer components have been added to the
Mathematics Honours syllabus since 2003-04
academic session. A computer laboratory with
8 computers of latest configuration and other
peripherals have been set up. The dept. with
the able guidance of the H.O.D. Dr. S. Dang
has successfully accomplished the following:

| Hostel Facilities |
| The college has residential
facilities for its students. There are separate
hostels for gents and ladies. Every hostel
has a reading room, a television and a telephone.
Every hostel has its own kitchen and a dining
hall. The cuisine includes vegetarian and
non-vegetarian dishes. One more Girls Hostel
exclusively for SC/ST girls is under construction
from MPLAD fund. The total residential accommodation
capacity is 250 boys and 150 girls. |

| Health Facilities |
| The college has a health care
unit with a full- time registered Homeopathic
Doctor and a bearer. The services of the Doctors
are made available to all students and staffs
of the college. |
